What are your working hours:

Working hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 12pm

Public Holiday, Afternoon or Sat bookings have a surcharge of R300 non-negotiable. If the shoot is cancelled & rescheduled for another PH, PM or Sat, another R300 is due. These bookings are very in demand and therefore cancellations are subject to a surcharge.

Shoot slots are usually 8:30/9am and 10:30am or 11am. Chat to me regarding your choice of time and I will try to accommodate you as much as possible.

What is the best time for Pregnancy Photos?

30 - 37 weeks

What is the best time to photograph Baby?

Newborn (curled up pics) 0 - 6 weeks. Sitting 7 - 8.5 months. This is not to say that you can't photograph your baby during other months but these are the best stages. A 6 week old can still lie in Daddy's hands etc but is unlikely to curl up. If your baby is almost sitting, wait until they are sitting securely.

What if baby comes early and we have paid for a combo shoot?

If you have booked and paid for your combo you (pregnancy & family newborn shoot), we will do the Family Newborn shoot as soon as you can (under 1 month). And then when baby is about 4 months and able to lie on his/her tummy and lift his/her head, we will do a shoot with baby with 15 - 20 images.

How long does it take to get our CD?

3 weeks. A sms or email will be sent to let you know that you are able to collect your CD. You will have to sms me to let me know that you are coming through or security will not let you in.

How do I confirm my shoot?

Proof of payment & booking form must be received to confirm a booking. No shoot will be booked unless full payment has been received.

If your family extends to more than 4 for the family shoot an extra R150 per person is required.

Public Holiday, Afternoon or Sat bookings have a surcharge of R300 non-negotiable. If the shoot is cancelled & rescheduled for another PH, PM or Sat, another R300 is due. These bookings are very in demand and therefore cancellations are subject to a surcharge.

Do you sell vouchers?

Vouchers are available for baby shower & other occasions. Give the most timeless gift of all – a photo shoot!

Can we reschedule our shoot?

If anyone is ill (including me) the shoot can be rescheduled. Please don't come for your shoot if anyone is ill. I get sick and then have to cancel shoots as I don't want to pass on germs to small babies. Plus a sick child will not enjoy the shoot and we cannot get nice photos of a sick baby/child.

If you don't give notice though, you will be charge a rescheduling fee of 50% of your shoot.

If you need another Sat/Public Holiday or afternoon booking you will need to pay an extra R300 surcharge for that booking.

What if my baby/toddler is hungry/tired?

I allow for enough time to feed your baby. Toddlers sleep/feeding times should be considered when booking the shoot. Try to book around these times as a toddlers patience does not allow for a lengthy shoot.

Please remember: A tired, hungry baby/toddler is very difficult to photograph. Plan your times around your child as much as possible. Small babies on the other hand are delight to photograph when asleep as we can get the most precious shots of them curled up.

What do we wear or bring with us?

2 outfits each - (except baby who needs only one baby grower that fits well and compliments parent and older siblings choice of colour. The rest are done in nappy or nude)

Adults need: One plain black top. One coloured top to compliment the choice for the child (e.g: shades of blue or all the same shade), a pair of jeans or denim of some sort, pick a colour that will compliment each other to go with denim or on its own. Pastels/bright colours and denim always works well. Don't worry about shoes as we don't see them much and often go barefoot. Make sure you nails are neat as they will feature in the photos. Turquoise/blue is also a good colour for the white backdrop.

No busy patterns like thin stripes and no white as it tends to become one with the background. Try get plain clothes without logos on them. Remember if you compliment each other, then the photo looks better and more ‘together’.

Sitting Baby/Children - usually one coloured t-shirt that compliments parents colour choice and one bright t-shirt that will stand out against the black. Jeans work well for bottoms! If older children have a plain black top it would be good too.

Preggy Mom & Dad need two tops. One plain black top each, a pair of jeans or denim of some sort, pick a colour that will compliment each other to go with denim or on its own. Pastels/bright colours and denim always works well. Don't worry about shoes as we don't see them much and often go barefoot. Make sure you nails are neat as they will feature in the photos. Try to bring clothes that fit tightly an show the belly - baggy clothes won't show your preggy tummy.
