Make-up Testimonials & Thanks

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on Sunday (my husband was blown away).   The time all the girls spent in the dressing room was great fun.  I also want to thank you for changing the subject and making me laugh when I was so close to losing it after reading the sms about my dad not being there.   It was really appreciated cause if you had not been there at that moment I think I would have just started sobbing and it would have been really difficult for me to try and compose myself enough to go to the ceremony. Make-up trial feedback...

I went for my make up trial this morning and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! YAY!!!
After a disastrous trial with another make up artist I was a bit apprehensive and thought of doing my own make up but Cathy is absolutely great. She is extremely professional and actually takes the time to listen to what you want.
My make up is natural and I don't feel like I am wearing a mask. I strongly recommend her should you be looking for someone to do your make up.
Rather chose the best person for the job and don't waste your money by going to just any make up artist.

Wedding feedback...

I don't think I am able to explain the calibre of Cathy Heaton's abilities as a make-up artist. She is EXCELLENT!!!! She is extremely professional and I was amazed at how beautiful she made all the ladies look. My MIL who was so adamant that she would never let anyone do her make-up quickly changed her mind when she saw how Cathy had done everyone else's make up. Michelle from Hair Innovations did a fantastic job with everyone's hair. I highly recommend Cathy and Michelle for hair and make up as they work very well together and have a great system going, with who goes next and timing etc. Lucy Monastursky 29/03/07 Sandton

Cathy Heaton is our Star of the day.  She made me look like I felt on the inside, intensly happy.  I felt so beautiful and adored.  The make-up was not over done but natural, just the way I wanted.  All the other ladies in the bridal party expreced their satisfaction with Cathy not only as a Make-up artist but also as a person.   I for one adore her as a person, a true gem! I’m back from honeymoon and the first thing I wanted to do is thank you for the amazing job you did at my wedding! The make-up lasted the whole wedding and everyone said that I looked so good, I should wear make-up more often! I just wanted to extend my deepest appreciation to you for the wonderful job you did with my make-up on my wedding day!   I was worried that my eyes were too smoky, but I received so many compliments about my make-up (including from Richard of course!!) and looking at the photos now, I can see from a more objective eye, how “spot on” you were.  Thank you so, so much! I wanted to say thank you AGAIN so much for everything you did for me on my wedding day – we have just received the photos from Michelle, and they are absolutely incredible.  It is not very often that I can look at a photo of me and think that it looks good - but Michelle’s photos are absolutely breathtaking, and even I can say that I looked beautiful.  Your make-up withstood 3 separate crying episodes – I cried as I walked down the aisle, I cried again just after the ceremony and then later during the speeches – and the only thing that had to be touched up was my lipstick! My husband (huh, huh) loved the way you made me look, like me, and yet ten times prettier. He was absolutely thrilled, he couldn’t stop smiling, he really didn’t expect that. He said it was perfect, and coming from him that is a huge compliment. Well how I felt goes without saying, you are amazing. Everybody else at the wedding also thought you did a stunning job with me, and trust me they didn’t just say it, they actually meant it, every single one of them even my sister-in-law who was so worried I would look too made up, they all were very pleasantly surprised. Even my sister said she would use you anytime. I have sent you a photo to show you my final product, and once again compliment your talent. I couldn't have made a better choice.
